New Blacklisted Gaming Shop - "GAMING ERA"

Hi Fellow Gamers, just wanted to post this to warn you guys out there to beware of this shop located at Plaza Singapura, Level 7, Gaming Era. And this is the story that make me wanted to blacklist them.

This afternoon I bought a wired loose pack controller from them. It was claim to be brand new and after i went back to office and out of curious i open up and check and found out that its used. How i know its used because at the side of the controller, have all those dirt between the gap and the bottom part of the controller is yellowish and the Microsoft silver tag is fading and so i call them and i told them this afternoon i bought a loose pack wired controller from you all, was it suppose to be brand new and he reply YES and i told him that why i think is not and they ask me to bring back to them with the receipt.

Which I just did, once i reach the shop i told them that i'm the guy who call earlier regarding the controller and i pass them back the controller and point to them why i think its used. And the lady boss claim that she dun think is dirt/used and i explain why, as a xbox360 gamer for so long, everynight i play games if its a brand new it should not have any dark dark dirt in between the gap and also i pointed to her the bottom side of the controller, its yellowish and the microsoft silver tag faded.

And so she ask her staff to pass me another piece and i told him to open up, i want to check before i agree to change. And in this 2nd piece of controller i found that the Microsoft Silver tag also faded and there is a white strip which was suppose to be the serial number or so but it was blank and the left thumb stick is loose compare to the right. So obviously i rejected and she said that as i paid by NETS she cant do refund and ask me to take something else but i told her that i dun want to paid for something that i dun need.

She's not happy and keep saying is her supplier not her fault, never even apologize and ask me to look around and dun even bother to assist me further which wasted me half an hour there and finally i told her that i have nothing to buy and ask her how? She say she will do a cash refund. While she was doing cash refund her staff repack the 2 controllers and put it back on shelf for sale, by seeing this i'm very unhappy and i told her how can you all do this which you know that this is not brand new. She just keep on saying is her supplier fault and will refund the goods back to him. But shouldn't them keep the controller somewhere else and not putting them up for sale? And after she pass me back the cash I left angrily and told them that i will report this incident to the others fellow gamers for your dishonest.

Thank you for reading my super duper long winded story but i just wanted to warn everyone here, thank you very much

There's only one game shop at Level 7, right?
Oh man, and I thought that was one of the most presentable game stores around. Quite a shame.

I bought 2 loose packed wired from there. 1 was new, 1 wasn't. I'm going to have to go back there and see if I can get a refund for the one that wasn't.

It may or may not be their fault but that's no way to treat a customer.

The least they could do is apologize for the f***up.

Yeah exactly, it's no way to run a business by blaming your supplier. I mean they expect us to believe that their supplier would not tell them exactly what the product is?

It's not a sealed case. It's loose packed, in clear plastic wrap. But they sell it as brand new wired controllers. I've seen it sold before elsewhere at a reputable shop, so it didn't strike me as odd.

I just took one of the controllers I bought there to exchange. The lady took out all her stock for me to pick, and some of the controllers were in pretty nasty shape. The white sockets that the thumbsticks and the d-pad were sitting in were already ground down pretty badly. I managed to find one that was new though. I think whoever supplied them probably mixed old and new wired pieces in there.
