This game's been getting close to no buzz even just before release and fans feared it was because the game was crap. Turns out, it's pretty awesome. I'm always down for some webslinging action but Mafia 2 beckons from the store shelves and there's that Hello game that's dropping next week. aaaarrgh.

Japan Finally Getting Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360)

FFXIII is finally being released in Japan for the 360 in December, a year after its original release date. Though it is not known whether an Asian version will be available as well, at least it is playable on local consoles for those who are interested.

The game is an 'international edition' and comes with English voiceovers.

This is taken from a Xbox 360 Slim package, though it can work as per normal for older xbox 360 fat consoles. As such, there is no retail packaging but the controller still have the factory protective plastic on.

Gary Oldman and Ed Harris will be lending their voices to Call of Duty: Black-ops as Treyarch and Activision confirm a host of Hollywood talent that's helping out with this year's blockbuster shooter.

Oldman will be reprising his role as Viktor Reznov, the embittered Russian squad leader from Treyarch's last Call of Duty, World at War, while veteran actor Ed Harris will be playing CIA operative Jason Hudson.

They're not the only movie professionals bringing their talent to the production; David S. Goyer, writer of, among other things, The Dark Knight and Batman Begins, is providing script consultation.

"Their contributions have helped us to push the boundaries of our story telling and character development far beyond anything we have ever attempted before in the franchise," said Treyarch head Mark Lamia.

Which is all well and good, but have they got the class to out-do Billy Murray, the voice of Modern Warfare's Captain Price? Quite probably.

Call of Duty: Black-ops is shaping up well; we went hands-on with the multiplayer last week and provided some quick impressions.
